"If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it truly is, infinite." -William Blake
also the dirt of my fingers "coloured" the sides in the middle
but all scars like these happen simply by the way of how i behave during the build process
so i dont mind them
one picture i lost while beeing too drunk.3 days and nights it was laying folded on a busy street in the rain.
but fortunately ballpen isnt affected by water and a good friend found it then.
[can be seen here: [link] ]
another accident [or "crime"] was @ a party where someone stepped by,watched me a few minutes and then ripped out
a quarter of the paper.
it was luck that it was only the white part.
ant to mention the crinkled upper left again: for carrying a paper sized A3 around[from work to parties etc.]
over a timespan of 17months...it's in a good shape

I have to say I can't critique the drawing at all, I think it's a fantastic display of an original, eccentric style and I can only admire your patience to spend over a year drawing one piece. It's surreal but it still looks realistic and very three-dimensional, reminds me of a weird dream or a vision.
My only critiques would be related to technical issues. The picture is in PNG format and takes up a whopping 5.6 megabytes, which means it takes a long time to load even for us broadbanders and much longer for those using a dialup. I suggest you use JPEG, you could get the image size down to perhaps 20% of that without any noticeable loss in quality.
I wonder if the paper you are using is yellowish (or turned yellowish during the drawing process) or whether it's just your scanner making it seem like that. Even if it's not intentional I think it gives a nice, warm tone to the picture, balancing the creepiness that reminds me of Hieronymus Bosch. But I think that the crease in the paper is a bit distractive, you could blend it away in an image editor quite easily.
the load-time is indeed a "good" point.
perhaps i should make the preview jpg in a viewable size ..then ppl. with a good connection can still have fun with a hi-res jpeg.
[i unfortunately saved lots of my pics as jpgs earlier, which actually crippled a lot of detail and colourshemes D:]
&thanx for this l0ng comment
